Coordination across the other five arms
The group runs several arms, and each does its own work. A succession plan touches most of them: licensed counsel drafts, the corporate side files, the office administers. This capability exists so that work lands on the same structure, instead of six separate conversations about the same facts.
One structure, several arms
The family office arm is where the administration sits. The other arms keep doing their own work, and the office keeps the picture whole. When counsel drafts a will, the office updates the records the will depends on. When a company files, the office knows, because it runs the calendar. When a transaction moves through the group, the office holds the chart of who owns what and who signs where.
What coordination prevents
The same fact should not be discovered five times in five meetings. A new entity should appear on the reporting, the calendar, the mandate list, and the statutory records at once, because the same office updates all four. When the arms coordinate, the structure stays consistent, and the inconsistencies that show up later in a deal or an audit never form.
