Angel and seed capital into ventures a client is building

When a client builds a venture, we can put capital in and work in it. The team holds equity, does the legal, corporate and finance work, and earns from the company's progress rather than fees for hours. That is the whole design, and it changes how the advice lands.

Capital with hands on

The money is the smallest part of the offer. The operational capacity is the product: a team that has incorporated companies, cleared rights, drafted contracts and run compliance for other businesses in the group. That is usually what a pre-revenue company cannot buy with cash. Equity vests over years of continued service, because the stake pays for work, not money.

What the cap table gets

Two structural points get checked before signing. Equity held by an entity can be moved, split or diluted inside the entity's own arrangements; equity held in an individual's name stays with the person who does the work. Shares carry voting rights and cost nothing to hold; options carry an exercise price and a tax event. We set out who holds what, in writing.
